MY CLASSES
DRAW PAINT
This one-term course provides an opportunity for a study of drawing and painting. The focus is on skills and techniques in specific media with an emphasis on the development of a personal style.
An appreciation for quality and respect for artistic expression will also be stressed. Observation, critical thinking and problem-solving are important components of the drawing and painting process.
The role of drawing and painting in history and cultural traditions will be included. Students analyze and evaluate their own work as well as drawings and paintings created by others.
ART OF ANIMATION
The word 'animation' is derived from anima, the Latin word for soul or spirit. The verb 'to animate' literally means 'to give life to’.
Animation is the combination of movement and time to create an illusion that is manipulated in extraordinary ways. Animation is the merger of technology, artistry, and storytelling at its finest.
Walt Disney put it best when he said, "Animation can explain whatever the mind can conceive."
DIGITAL ART & DESIGN
Computer technology is changing how we communicate, how we learn, and even how we express ourselves. Art will always be an important vehicle for understanding how we communicate,
how we learn and of course how we express ourselves.

If you enjoy creating art or working with artistic people, you might thrive in a career that focuses on art.

As an artist & art educator, I Have struggled with this complicated question. Even though this question can be defined differently by others, I challenge anyone to describe what art is without the idea of love, desire, creativity and style at the forefront.
